The projects and events that eloquential work on
are completely varied including: IPOs, AGMs, media interviews, away
days, speaking engagement etc. We work closely with all appropriate
parties to ensure that our involvement is tailored specifically to
the requirements.
When preparing individuals and teams for specific
events we concentrate on only those essential changes
that will make the biggest difference in the shortest time.
- Rising
Stars: This is a programme
eloquential designed with the University of Cambridge in 2006 and
have been running ever since. The aim is to encourage and
give skills for students and academics to become involved in
outreach activities with the general public. We run 3 cohorts per
academic year and it has become highly competitive with
approximately 100 applicants for 12 places
- Away
days: Every year since 2007 we have run an away day for 16
directors from a financial services company. Each away day
is carefully designed with the Chief Executive to carefully tailor
skills development and team building in an enjoyable format and
setting. Each year builds on feedback from the previous year
and consists of planning, briefing and preparation meetings
beforehand with management and the participating directors.
- Speaking events:
We are often asked to speak or run short sessions at events on
areas such as voice, personal impact, persuasion etc. Recent
engagements included: 30 minute talk about 'personal impact when
on an exhibition stand' during an event on exhibiting at trade
shows for UKTI, 1 hour talk about women’s voice at a couple of
women’s networking groups, 1½ hour talk about persuasion at the
Association of MBAs, 1 hour practical session on communicating
your work to non-specialists at a public engagement seminar held
by
Cambridge University
- Media
preparation:
Prepared a team of 6 senior managers
from a manufacturing company for a media conference. Ensuring
that they were: able to give key messages in all areas of the
business, confident in handling tricky questions, proactive in
networking and targeting journalists most appropriate for their
area
